Jeannine Williamson
With a background in newspaper and magazine journalism, Jeannine is an experienced and accomplished travel writer. She has written for Group Leisure & Travel for over 15 years and contributes regularly to a wide variety of consumer and trade publications including national newspapers, magazines and websites.
Jeannine has specialised more in cruising in more recent years and has an extensive knowledge of river cruising and river cruise lines having now sailed on all the major waterways in Europe and around the world, including the Mississippi, Upper and Lower Mekong, Ganges, Brahmaputra, Amazon and Russian waterways. She also has a particular interest in small ship expeditions and destinations visited include the Arctic, Marquesas Islands and Patagonia.
Jeannine is also passionate about horses and in the past has edited the Arab Horse Society News and contributed to equine titles. Her land-based travels have included riding trips in Mongolia, India, Iceland, Egypt, Jordan, Eswatini and Northern Sweden.
