In the latter half of 2025, Blenheim Palace is hosting several seasonal events including Salon Privé, Christmas markets and more.
With more than 300 years of British history documented within its walls, Blenheim Palace is a UNESCO World Heritage site in Oxfordshire that is a must for groups with a nose for the historical. The estate, which is named after the 1704 Battle of Blenheim and is well-known for being the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, features stunning State Rooms and formal gardens.
As part of its 2025 events calandar, the Palace will host a series of events this autumn and winter for groups to explore.
Garden Tours
Running throughout July and August, groups are invited to learn more about the estate’s Formal Gardens on one of Blenheim’s brand-new Garden Tours, hosted by head gardener Andy Mills. Discover the history behind the Gardens, learn about the exciting changes the gardening team have been making and perhaps even pick up some green-fingered tips along the way.
Each tour lasts 30 minutes and will take place in a different area of the Formal Gardens each week, starting with the Upper Water Terrace on Friday 4th July. This event is free to those with an Annual Pass/Palace, Park and Gardens ticket.
Salon Privé
One for those with an interest in the automotive industry, Salon Privé will display some of the finest supercars and classic automobiles in the UK alongside exclusive luxury exhibitors including boats, helicopters, jewellery and more. Billed as ‘one of the most glamorous social occasions on the calendar’, the event is the place to see and be seen and also offers a range of dining and hospitality packages to match the automotive royalty on show.
New for 2025, the automotive elite will be displayed inside beautiful all-weather glass structures. Salon Privé is running from Wednesday 27th August - Sunday 31st August 2025, featuring various themed days including a Ladies’ Day and a Supercar Weekend.
Halloween spook-tacular
The estate’s Halloween programme, which runs from 23rd October - 2nd November 2025, includes an all-new themed trail where towering skeletons loom, glowing eyes watch from the shadows and ghostly lights flicker through the darkness. Along the trail, guests will discover a medieval dungeon, steeped in dark secrets; giant spiderwebs, ready to trap the unwary; a cursed tomb, where the dead come alive; and a pagan ritual site, alive with ancient power.
Tickets for the event are yet to be released, and those interested are encouraged to sign-up for early access to tickets when they go on general sale.
Christmas at Blenheim
The Palace’s Illuminated Trail is bigger, better and brighter than ever before – featuring spectacular works by international and local artists. Blenheim’s event is firmly positioned as one of the UK’s leading illuminated trails and includes a glimpse of Father Christmas along the way.
Inside the Palace, groups can explore The Palace of Oz - a magical tale of wizardry, witches, sparkling shoes and the power of friendship. Inspired by L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, guests are invited to follow the road of yellow brick sprinkled with Christmas magic. Look out for Toto, The Tin Woodman, Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion, Witches, Munchkins and more.
Shoppers and foodies can also stock-up on festive goodies at the Christmas Market in The Great Court. The seasonal village of wooden chalets offers everything from inspired Christmas gift ideas to tasty treats.
All the events listed above are available for group bookings. More information on Blenheim Palace’s events programme can be found at blenheimpalace.com/whats-on.
