The Night Garden will see a host of illuminated displays across the attraction in Cornwall.

A magical garden trail, exploring woodlands and gardens, will be beautifully lit with installations and lanterns between November and January. Groups will be invited to discover displays of fauna and flora, to celebrate the characters of the garden community, all illuminated.

Following an extended one-mile one-way accessible journey around the gardens, the team will direct visitors to discover nature in a celebration of the wildlife that make Heligan their home all year round.

You’ll be encouraged to explore at your own pace, stopping to take in the smells, toast marshmallows, experience glittering oak trees, and sample seasonal refreshments and meals all against a festive backdrop.

The Night Garden is an outside experience and the attraction suggests sturdy footwear, torches, and appropriate dress for the Cornish weather. The route is suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs.

The Heligan Shop will be open selling festive treats, local produce, and a variety of gifts. Lantern-making workshops are available for children (pre-booking required).

The Lost Gardens of Heligan at Pentewan, near St Austell, is one of the most mysterious estates in England. Lost to the brambles of time since the outbreak of World War One, it was rediscovered and restored in 1990.

Its 200 acres offer visitors lots to see with a number of group facilities and benefits including free coach parking and special talks. Night Garden entry tickets must be purchased separately to enable access to the evening experience.
