Greased Lightnin’
Written by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, Grease began as a stage musical, opening on Broadway in 1971 where it ran until 1980. Its West End debut in 1973 saw Richard Gere perform as teen heartthrob Danny Zuko.
Nikolai Foster and Arlene Phillips’ production has played two West End seasons at the Dominion since 2022, and has previously toured in 2024.
It was the beloved 1978 musical film adaptation that popularised it, featuring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John as teenagers Danny and Sandy enjoying a summer romance amidst peer pressure.
Grease remains the highest-grossing film of 1978, and the highest-grossing musical of all time, receiving five Golden Globe nominations and an Academy Award nomination.
Tickets are available to book now; groups should contact their chosen venue for more information. Find full tour details at greasemusical.co.uk.
