Amy Johnson will set sail in April 2021 for its debut cruise around Malaysia, India, Egypt and more.

Amy Johnson

CMV’s new mid-sized cruise ship, Amy Johnson, will sail from London Tilbury.

Cruise & Maritime Voyages’ latest ship is described as the ‘flagship of the CMV fleet’ and will set sail for the first time on 15th April 2021.

The ship will set off from Singapore, taking passengers to ports in Malaysia, India and Egypt. Guests will be able to see the city of Luxor and the country of Jordan.

The 44-night itinerary will include the opportunity to explore Cairo as well as ancient sites in Greece and Italy.

The journey then continues to the south of France, Spain, Portugal (specifically, Lisbon and Oporto) and Amsterdam, ending in London’s Tilbury port where the ship will be based.

Amy Johnson is named after an English aviator who was the first woman to fly solo from London to Australia. The ship, which carries 1,400 people and features 11 passenger decks, will be upgraded in March 2021 ahead of its first season.

“[The ship is] A real step up for us whilst still maintaining our key brand values of a more traditional style of cruising and maritime experience.”
