Oscar-winning Ghost the Musical will tour the UK
Ghost the Musical will make a return to the stage this summer, embarking on a UK tour for the first time since 2019.
The annual Royal International Air Tattoo is set to return to Royal Air Force (RAF) Fairford in Gloucestershire in July next year.
The two and a half day event will feature an air show, as well as a huge selection of static aircraft and entertainment including a Royal Review (parade) of RAF aircraft.
Special super early bird tickets for the event, which runs from 19th – 21st July are now on sale.
The 2019 event
The theme for next year’s event is Air & Space: Inspiring the next Generation Air Force to mark 70 years of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO).
Andy Armstrong, chief executive of RAF Charitable Trust Enterprises, said: “As well as welcoming air arms from around the world, we plan to demonstrate, through engaging and interactive displays, how space technology is being developed and how it is being used to help counter threats to our everyday lives.
“Our focus on space will be particularly poignant as the 2019 airs how will take place on exactly the same day, 50 years ago that the first Moon landing took place – on 20th July, 1969.”
The show will return to its previous format in 2019. Friday will feature a four-hour flying display, with aircraft arrivals either side. Aircraft announcements are expected next spring.
On Saturday and Sunday, the show will be open for 12 hours, with over seven hours of flying displays and access available to the entire showground, including the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) area, Techno Zone, hands-on RAF Experience and Vintage Village (all of which are also open on Friday).
Current offerings
Details are currently being confirmed with coach operators that will run combined admission ticket and travel packages to the event next year.
Groups of 20 plus organising their own coach transport will receive a coach operator discount. Those booking at least 20 tickets but travelling in separate vehicles will still be offered a discount.
Super early bird tickets are currently on sale at a saving of almost 20%.
Free entry is available for all under 18s when accompanying a ticket holding adult and free parking is available for all ticket holders.
