The line-up for Carnival Cruise Line’s Carnival Live festival has been announced and will see famous entertainers performing live onboard Carnival ships from March 2017 onwards.
Carnival Live is an entertainment experience that brings live music and comedy to the seas, allowing groups the opportunity to enjoy performances by top artists, on a ship.
This year’s line-up includes country stars Tim McGraw and Little Big Town, and comedians Jay Leno and Jeff Foxworthy.
The performances are held in the ships’ main show lounges which range in capacity from 900 to 1,300 to give shows a more intimate and personal feel.
Tim McGraw – who has won three Grammy Awards – will bring his signature brand of country music to two Carnival ships in 2017 – aboard Carnival Breeze on 2nd March and Carnival Valor the following day.
The performances will take place while the ships are docked at Nassau, The Bahamas.
Little Big Town will play in Nassau also, abroad Carnival Dream on 11th May and Carnival Valor on 12th May.
The band has earned a loyal following for their mix of harmonies and music talent and are the recipients of nine Country Music Association awards.
Meanwhile, comedian Jeff Foxworthy will be found performing a stand-up routine abroad Carnival Freedom on 21st June and Carnival Ecstasy on 22nd June. Again this will take place in Nassau.
Jeff is best known for his comedy that explores everyday family interactions and human nature.
Jay Leno will entertain guests with his observational humour with performances in Cozumel, aboard Carnival Victory on 3rd May and Carnival’s newest ship, Carnival Vista on 4th May.
Leno plays at least 200 shows a year and currently hosts Jay Leno’s Garage on the CNBC network.
