A hotel opening in Derbyshire, expanded cruise and walk programmes and new garden tours are among the 2027 highlights for groups booking with HF Holidays.

The operators’ itineraries feature a growing collection of special interest holidays including geology and walking breaks, bird life getaways in the Lake District and Snowdonia as well as Christmas Craft breaks at its country houses.
Unveiling its 2027 programme, HF Holidays said it has seen a record year across 2026 with 18% year-on-year growth in passenger numbers in its tour operating business and a 30% year-on-year growth in guest numbers on its special interest holidays.
The expanded portfolio now features more than 200 holidays including a range of expert-led Overseas Garden Tours and more Guided Walking Holidays exploring lesser-known sides of popular destinations.
“As more people choose to travel with us, we have expanded our portfolio and extended our season to meet the demand.”

HF has also more than doubled the departures on its European Cruise and Walk programme, working in partnership with Hurtigruten.
Among the cruise and walk holidays is a seven-night ‘Cruise & Walk the Dalmatian Coast’ itinerary during which you’ll sail on board MV Paradis, exclusively for HF Holidays, and enjoy guided walks on the islands of Brač, Korčula, and Hvar, in the foothills of the Biokovo Mountains and Mljet National Park.
Or, experience a 12-night ‘Cruise and Walk the Coast of Norway’ on board a Hurtigruten ship, sailing from Bergen to Kirkenes and back and a series of picturesque guided walks.

Expanding programme in response to growing demand
HF Holidays’ CEO Chris Simmonds said: “We’re proud of the incredible range of walking and activity holidays we have curated for our 2027 collection. As more people choose to travel with us, we have expanded our portfolio and extended our season to meet the demand.”
2027 will see HF Holidays open its new country house, Lee Wood Hotel, in Buxton said to be the gateway to the Peak District National Park. The opening follows the successful renovation and reopening of Dolserau Hall, its country house in Snowdonia in 2026. As a co-operative, HF Holidays continues to reinvest all profits back into its 16 country houses with further work planned to enhance guest experience and improve energy efficiency.
CEO Chris Simmonds says: “The launch of our 2027 programme marks an exciting milestone for HF Holidays. With more holidays than ever before, a longer season and more capacity now available in our UK country houses, we now offer travellers unprecedented choice in destinations and shared experiences with like-minded people, year-round.”
