Walks linked to literature, wine tasting or pub visits are among the new breaks on offer with HF Holidays for 2019.
Here’s a round-up of some of the different options for groups:
Adventure Walks
These offer walkers the chance to push their boundaries, whether it’s tackling some of Britain’s highest mountains and toughest scrambles or testing their endurance on long distance challenges.
Put your fitness to the test with the Peak District Challenge Weekend next May. Starting and finishing in Edale, the day long challenge heads up onto the heather uplands of Edale Moor and the Kinder plateau, with far reaching views from the historic summit of Kinder Scout.
It’s real leg-stretcher at 19 miles and more than 3,500 ft of ascent but there’s time to relax and recover at HF Holidays’ country house in the White Peak
Gentle Walks
These are an easier variation of HF Holidays’ Guided Walking holidays; there’s a choice of three guided walks graded for difficulty, including a half-day walk of between three and four miles.
Group travel organisers could opt for the Shropshire Hills Gentle Walking Holiday next June, taking in the slopes of the Golden Valley.
Walks With a Theme
HF Holidays has launched various themed-walks including a Yorkshire Dales Pub Walks trip.It offers the chance to sample local cuisine, culture and a pint or two of the local brew while walking through the Yorkshire Dales.
The four-night holiday includes full-board accommodation in HF Holidays’ country house, the 19th century Newfield Hall.
Group benefits
Those with 10 or more members qualify for savings and benefits including a dedicated account manager, low deposits and pre-arrival familiarisation visits (terms and conditions apply).
