Alice Fearn in Wicked

Around 500,000 more tickets have now been released for Wicked, which has announced it will now take bookings until December 2018, marking its 24th extension.

The show celebrates its 11th year in the West End this month and to mark the anniversary will now be taking bookings until 1st December 2018.

Synopsis: Wicked

Based on the acclaimed, best-selling novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire that re-imagines the stories and characters created by L. Frank Baum in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Wicked tells the untold story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two sorcery students. Their extraordinary adventures in Oz will ultimately see them fulfil their destinies as Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West. 

Wicked currently stars Alice Fearn as Elphaba, Sophie Evans as Glinda, Bradley Jaden as Fiyero, Melanie La Barrie as Madame Morrible, and Andy Hockley as The Wizard. 

It includes songs such as Defying Gravity, For Good, and Popular.

The show has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz whose credits include Godspell, Disney’s Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Enchanted, and for DreamWorks, The Prince of Egypt. The show is adapted for the stage by Winnie Holzman.

While continuing its open-ended London run, the UK & Ireland touring production of Wicked returns from 31st January 2018, visiting Bristol, Liverpool, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds, Dublin, Sunderland, Southampton, Cardiff and Manchester.
