Broadcaster, author and journalist, Paul Rose will be speaking at the 2026 Group Leisure & Travel Show as part of a range of talks in the Seminar Theatre that complement the event’s broad and diverse range of specialist exhibitors.

Paul Rose presented Coastal Path on the BBC this year and will be one of the speakers at the 2026 Group Leisure & Travel Show.

The annual show is back at Arena MK in Milton Keynes on Thursday 8th October 2026 and the Seminar Theatre programme is now complete, with Paul Rose joining Eric Knowles (Bargain Hunt, Antiques Roadshow), and firm favourite and travel expert, Simon Calder.

The talks, which take place throughout the day, are free and all visitors and exhibitors are welcome to attend the sessions.

TV presenter, Paul Rose added to speaker line-up

International traveller and TV presenter Paul Rose will be giving a talk and inspiring visitors at the GLT Show on 8th October. He most recently hit our screens this year on the Coastal Path series on the BBC and has previously presented 22 BBC award-winning television programmes on current affairs, science and the environment.

One of the world’s most accomplished science expedition leaders, Paul helps scientists unlock and communicate global mysteries in the most remote and challenging regions of the planet.

He is the Head of Expeditions for National Geographic Pristine Seas, which has completed 43 expeditions all over the globe and helped to protect over 6.6 million square kilometres of ocean.

Paul is an Ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme, with a special focus on plastic pollution.

He spent a decade as Base Commander of Rothera Research Station, Antarctica, for the British Antarctic Survey. For this he was awarded the Queen’s Polar Medal and for his Antarctic work with NASA, the US Polar Medal.

He is a former vice president of the Royal Geographical Society, which awarded him its Founder’s Medal and Ness Award. He is an Honorary Doctor of Science at Plymouth University, and an Honorary Fellow at the University of Cumbria. A mountain has been named after him in Antarctica!

Visitor and exhibitor satisfaction sky high

For those unsure about visiting or exhibiting, you only need to look at the survey results following the 2025 event.

The post show survey revealed that 95% of visitors said their show experience was good or very good, 97% said they met the right type of exhibitors and 98% liked the Arena MK venue in Milton Keynes. Similarly, 94% of exhibitors surveyed said the GLT Show 2025 produced good leads for groups business and 94% said they met the right type of people.
