Silverstone race circuit, in Northamptonshire, is to open a new interactive experience, suitable for groups called the Silverstone Experience.
Mongoose, the sports & entertainment marketing agency, has recently announced the addition of the Silverstone Experience, an interactive and technology driven visitor attraction at the home of British motor sport.
The new visitor attraction, set to open in 2019, will celebrate the exciting past, present and future of Silverstone and British motor sport using pioneering technology, which will bring an expected 500,000 more people per year closer to the circuit’s intriguing history.
Open year-round, the Silverstone Experience will deliver an immersive journey through the decades of motor sport at Silverstone, focusing on the heroes, history and innovations that have driven the sport forward. The experience will build on the success that Silverstone has and continues to deliver to the world stage.
The Silverstone Experience is supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. His Royal Highness, Prince Harry is the Project’s Royal Patron and he is keen to draw attention to the contribution the UK has made to the sport as a means of encouraging more people into engineering and the thriving British motor sport industry.
