The Salutation Hotel in Perth – one of the Strathmore Hotels – has launched some new packages for groups in 2018 and 2019.
This hotel is one of the oldest in Scotland, located in the heart of Perth city centre. It is ideally placed for touring local cities such as Dundee, Stirling, St Andrews, and Edinburgh, as well as the countryside of Perthshire and Kinross.
A whisky holiday
The first new offer is a Whisky & Dine Package which includes a tour of Tullibardine Distillery, as well as tastings of two Vintage whiskies.
In addition, the four-night experience includes a number of full Scottish breakfasts, three course carvery-style dinners, an afternoon tea, and entertainment on some of the nights.
Dates for this year include 9th September, and 7th and 21st October. Next year, choose from dates in July, September and October.
A sample itinerary could include a day at the distillery and another day at St Andrew’s, where your group can explore the castle and cathedral. You might also like to visit the House of Bruar, or explore the town of Perth.
Fizz themed packages
The hotel has also launched new Fizz & Castle Packages – another four night stay that includes breakfast, dinners and afternoon tea as above, plus a glass of bubbly on arrival and entry to Blair castle.
The 2019 dates currently available are 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd April, and 6th May.

Further packages available at the Salutation Hotel include Turkey and Tinsel breaks that comprise a four-night festive stay, and Scottish Shindig packages that celebrate Robert Burns in January.
