The production will open at the Prince Edward Theatre in May 2027, where it will play a strictly limited eight months season.

Miss Saigon will begin performances at the Prince Edward Theatre in May 2027, more than ten years since the production last performed in London at the same venue.
The West End run comes following its sell out UK and Ireland tour that is booking through to August 2026. Venues on the tour include Nottingham Theatre Royal, Birmingham Hippodrome and Palace Theatre, Manchester.
Producer Cameron Mackintosh said: “It has been immensely gratifying to play to sell-out audiences across the UK and Ireland, and to see new, younger generations react so passionately to this unique piece of musical history.
“Our national tour continues until August of this year, but I am delighted to announce that London audiences will also have the chance to see this reborn, modern Miss Saigon, in all its glory, for eight months only from May 2027. You won’t want to miss Saigon - in a way you have never seen it before.”

About the show
Set during the last days of the Vietnam War, Miss Saigon tells the story of 17-year-old Kim who is forced to work in a Saigon bar run by a notorious character known as The Engineer.
There, she meets and falls in love with an American GI named Chris, but they are torn apart by the fall of Saigon. For three years, Kim goes on an epic journey of survival to find her way back to Chris, who has no idea he’s fathered a son.
The production has music by Claude-Michel Schönberg with lyrics by Richard Maltby Jr. and Alain Boublil and features the hit songs The Heat is On in Saigon, The Movie in My Mind, Last Night of the World and The American Dream.
Miss Saigon has been performed in 378 cities in 33 countries and has been seen by more than 38 million people worldwide. September 2024 marked 35 years since the show’s opening in the West End.
Tickets go on sale in March. Casting and performance dates will be announced at a later date. For more information and to sign up for updates, visit miss-saigon.com.
