About The Hunger Games stage production

Based in a dystopian future, The Hunger Games tells the story of fearless heroine Katniss Everdeen, one of 24 young tributes pitted against each other in an arena for the entertainment of the Capitol.

Katniss defies the odds in a gripping tale of courage, hope and unbreakable human spirit and emerges as a beacon of rebellion and hope for the citizens of Panem.

The Hunger Games: On Stage is adapted by Conor McPherson and directed by Matthew Dunster. Dunster’s previous productions include 2:22 - A Ghost Story, Hangmen and The Pillowman.
