Groups can now enjoy a traditional afternoon tea experience aboard the London Eye, with each capsule seating up to ten guests for two rotations offering views of Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and other iconic landmarks.

Guests will spend an hour on board the capsule for the unique experience.

Seating up to ten guests in each pod, visitors will enjoy two rotations, taking in views of the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace, among other sights, whilst tucking into a traditional afternoon tea.

Each pod seats up to ten people, with groups able to book out whole pods privately. Tickets for the afternoon tea experience also include priority boarding, with guests recommended to arrive at least 30 minutes early.

Hot beverages, handcrafted patisserie and classic scones are all on the menu.

What’s included?

The afternoon tea includes freshly prepared favourites, such as cucumber and cream cheese finger sandwiches, delicate miniature lemon meringue tarts and scones with jam and clotted cream. A glass of champagne can also be added at an extra cost and vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options are also available.

A dedicated host will be onboard the capsule to deliver the experience, share insight and knowledge about the landmarks on view and provide tips for the best photo opportunities.

About the London Eye

Built for the Millennium, the London eye is located on the South Bank of the Thames opposite Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. It is the largest cantilevered observation wheel in the world at 135m tall. Each rotation takes around 30 minutes.
