Pride, based on the 2014 film, will open at the Bridge Theatre after its sell-out success in Cardiff and London with group tickets available.
The new musical, based on the 2014 film of the same name, is set during the 1984 miners’ strike in South Wales and will start performances at the Bridge on 12th November.
It made its world premiere at the Sherman Theatre in Cardiff in March before a stint at the Dorfman Theatre at the Royal National Theatre where it will finish on 12th September.
Director, Matthew Warchus, said: “It’s one of the great privileges of my career to direct it, first as a film and now as a celebratory stage adaptation, and witness the same extraordinary way it impacts audiences. It’s a story of hope that we need now more than ever.”

The country is in turmoil, Margaret Thatcher is battling with the coal industry, miners are on strike and 24-year-old activist, Mark Ashton, finds an unlikely alliance in South Wales. Lesbian and Gays Support the Miners (LGSM).
The confirmed cast will feature Samuel Barnett (Jonathan), Matthew Durkan (Mike), Gillian Elisa (Gwen), Chris Jenkins (Gethin), Darren Lawrence (Cliff), Kirsty Malpass (Hefina).
Further casting announcements are expected soon.
In 2014, the story of LGSM was brought to the big screen. The film was written by Stephen Beresford and directed by Matthew Warchus, who have also worked on the theatre production together. It starred Bill Nighy, Imelda Staunton, Dominic West and Andrew Scott.
Tickets and group bookings
Tickets for Pride go on sale on 2nd September. There are discounted tickets for groups of ten or more, for weekday performances. Groups must book before 6th November to ensure availability.
The 900-seat Bridge Theatre is located just five minutes from London Bridge station.
