Jamie’s Italian has launched group dining menus after opening a new flagship site in Leicester Square, London.

Welcoming tour operators, coach groups and travel trade partners, Jamie’s Italian returned to the UK in the spring, seven years after the chain closed.
The new group menus are said to showcase the celebrity chef’s much-loved Italian dishes, combining fresh ingredients, generous portions and efficient service.
Yasmin Balcombe, tourism and corporate sales manager at Brava Hospitality Group, which also looks after Prezzo Italian said: “Following the successful opening of Jamie’s Italian Leicester Square this spring, we’re delighted to launch our dedicated group dining menus and welcome enquiries from across the travel trade.”

Speaking previously to the BBC, Jamie Oliver recognised that restarting the brand would be challenging.
He said: “In theory it’s not the easiest time to return but conversely, I think it’s the perfect time. I believe the mid-market needs excitement, surprise and delight and that’s exactly what I am planning on delivering.”
There were more than 40 Jamie’s Italian sites across the UK at its peak but the company ran into difficulties, eventually closing the restaurants in 2019, while more than 30 locations overseas remained open.
The new restaurant is said to be smaller than previous locations and its menus are more selective and said to be more affordable. There’s a selection of pizzas, pasta dishes and other traditional Italian meals.
Groups can now book - for menus, rates and availability, contact Yasmin Balcombe by emailing Yasmin@bravahospitality.co.uk.
