Isle of Wight Tours owner Geoff Holt has been appointed to the Coach Tourism Association board of directors, bringing extensive experience from the coach tourism sector, with the announcement made at the CTA’s annual general meeting in Cardiff.

Geoff is a long-standing member of the CTA in his role leading the Isle of Wight-based coach tour operation.
CTA chair, Robert Shaw, said: “We’re very happy to welcome Geoff to the CTA board and know that he will make a valuable contribution towards the promotion of coach operators and the wider industry.”
Growing up in a family-run hotel on the Isle of Wight, Geoff was introduced to hospitality at a very early age. Building his career through hotel operations and sales roles with Forte and Hilton, Geoff returned to the island to focus on sales and coach tourism.
Later, he became the longest-serving sales manager at IOW Tours before acquiring the brand in 2021, which also involved acquiring and reviving KingsHill Holidays, which was previously based in Merseyside.

Looking forward to sharing coach tourism experience
Geoff said: “I’m honoured to be appointed to the CTA Board of Directors.
“As a coach tour operator, we’ve been proud members of the CTA for decades, and being part of the organisation has helped us strengthen and enhance our product offering for customers. Building relationships with fellow operators has also enabled us to share ideas and find solutions to common challenges across the industry.
“By joining the CTA Board, I look forward to sharing our experience for the wider benefit of members, while helping to support the future direction and continued success of the coach tourism sector.”
