GLT Show completes 2023 speaker line-up with Watchdog and The One Show’s Matt Allwright

Matt has been a presenter on the popular TV consumer investigation programmes Rogue Traders and Watchdog for more than 20 years and has worked on a number of other shows including The One Show, Morning Live, Housing Enforcers, You’ve Been Scammed, Rogue Restaurants, and The Food Inspectors.

He joins TV travel pundit Simon Calder plus gardener and presenter Frances Tophill, to complete the Seminar Theatre line-up. The exhibition takes place on Thursday 5th October at the Marshall Arena, Stadium MK, Milton Keynes.

Matt will be sharing his tips on what group travel organisers should consider when choosing somewhere to stay and some of the places he has visited that would appeal to groups.

Before joining Watchdog, Matt worked in BBC Newsrooms after teaching English in high schools in Japan and eventually running his own English school. He has also been a winner on Celebrity Mastermind, University Challenge, Pointless, Beat The Chasers, The Weakest Link and The Chase.

Group organisers will receive free entry to the GLT Show, including the Seminar Theatre, where they will be able to meet and be inspired by a range of exhibitors including attractions, tour operators, destinations and much more. Free refreshments are provided for both breakfast and lunch.

Show organiser, Sharon Yandell said that stand sales for 2023 were “exceeding expectations” adding: “It’s been hugely popular so far and there really is a big appetite from exhibitors to be at the 2023 show – if you’re interested in coming, I’d encourage you to book early to secure your place.”
