Amadeus River Cruises has introduced a new policy for groups, which includes free places and early booking discounts, following a surge in group bookings.

The cruise line, which offers five-star river sailings across Europe, said the new policy was in response to a “double digit increase” in group bookings and enquiries.
Group pricing packages
The new policy features a Protected Allocation package which is aimed at group travel organisers and offers an early booking discount. When a GTO books a cruise, the allocation is held and protected with a non-refundable deposit. There is also one free place for every 21 places sold plus additional enhanced commission.

What to expect from an Amadeus cruise
In addition to these new policy perks, groups benefit from curated river cruises through the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France and Eastern Europe, along with pre-booked excursions and customisable dining options.
With a fleet of 14, Amadeus recently announced it would be sailing its first ship, Amadeus Douro, in Portugal in the spring of 2028. The 55-cabin ship will have hybrid electric engines and will sail a seven-night round-trip from Porto.

One of Amadeus’ most popular itineraries is the Tulip Serenade cruise which takes in the waterways of Holland and Belgium and includes a visit to the world-famous Keukenhof Gardens to see the tulip displays.
Amadeus can also assist with pre- and post-cruise accommodation bookings and extended trips. Its facilities on-board include spa and fitness, various activities and live entertainment.
