Mattel Play! Liverpool

A new £1.5million family entertainment centre is set to open in Liverpool in spring 2016; Mattel Play! Liverpool will feature Thomas & Friends, Bob the Builder and Fireman Sam.

Mattel is the company behind the design and manufacture of many toys and family products, including Barbie, Hot Wheels and Fisher-Price. The new entertainment centre is set to be the first of its kind in Europe.

The interactive centre will open at the Grand Hall at Albert Dock, and will be operated by Heritage Great Britain plc, the group behind iconic tourist attractions and destinations including Land’s End and Snowdon Mountain Railway.

There will be three interactive zones where visitors can meet Fireman Sam, see life size engines from Thomas the Tank Engine including Thomas and Rosie, and visit Bob the Builder’s yard and Wendy’s workshop.
