The family-friendly West End show is for everyone, from die-hard fans of Fawlty Towers to those completely new to the characters.

A loving tribute to the BBC’s classic TV series, the show has been seen by over a million people worldwide and has appeared in 43 countries to date.

In 2023 the West End’s longest running immersive dining experience won the coveted Group Leisure & Travel Award for the Best Group Dining Experience. They are now asking group travel organisers to help them top the list once again, and even posted a hilarious video here to tempt GTOs into voting.

What groups can expect from the experience

Faulty Towers The Dining Experience is a loving tribute to Fawlty Towers, the classic BBC TV series written by John Cleese and Connie Booth. Using its own original scripts and format, groups become diners in the ‘Faulty Towers’ restaurant where pretty much anything can happen – because 70% of the show is improvised.

The fun starts as guests wait to be seated. It then hurtles along in a 2-hour tour de force of gags and shambolic service as Basil, Sybil and Manuel serve a ‘70s-style 3-course meal together with a good dollop of mayhem. Groups are warned to ‘expect the unexpected!’

This family friendly West End show is fun for everyone - from die-hard fans of Fawlty Towers, to those totally new to the characters - chaos reigns supreme almost as soon as you walk through the door of London’s President Hotel, in the heart of the capital’s Theatreland, which doubles as the famous hotel in the show.

Big news for 2024

In 2024 Faulty Towers The Dining Experience celebrates 12 years in London’s West End, 16 years of touring the UK and Europe, and 27 years of entertaining groups worldwide.

Since opening, the cast have performed to notable guests including Fawlty Towers’ very own Andrew Sachs, John McEnroe, Stefan Edberg, and England footballer Joe Cole, as well as taking a pop-up version of their restaurant on the London Underground and to a sold-out Royal Albert Hall.

2023 saw sell-out residencies in Manchester, Leicester, Edinburgh and Birmingham, which will return in 2024, along with new residencies added to the tour in Newcastle, Cardiff, Northampton and Glasgow.

London is currently booking until 22nd December 2024.
