GTOs can now book their tickets to see Wicked on a new online portal - Wicked Direct.

Now flying into its 17th year at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre, tickets for Wicked are now on sale to coach operators and group organisers exclusively from Tuesday 28th November 2023 until Sunday 2nd June 2024.

Bookings can be made through Wicked Direct, a new online portal which is said to offer groups a faster and easier way to buy tickets for the show, as well as advice on nearby attractions and restaurants recommendations, as well as accommodation and transport advice.

As part of the platform, groups can find out about the best seat locations, availability as well as being able to have more flexibility to ‘book now, pay later’. Group organisers can also buy add-ons to complement and personalise their theatre trip.

It’s been announced that the show’s in-house groups & travel trade team will be led by Jo Bachelor, who was previously head of sales at Encore (now TodayTix Group).

She said: “It has been a pleasure to work directly with the producers and marketing team to redefine how our tickets are sold and packaged and we are excited to now launch Wicked Direct.

“The dedicated sales team is pleased to provide expert help and advice and to assist in tailoring memorable group visits.”

Wicked currently stars: Lucie Jones as Elphaba, Helen Woolf as Glinda, Ryan Reid as Fiyero, Sophie-Louise Dann as Madame Morrible and Mark Curry as The Wizard (from 18th October 2022).

The London production opened at the Apollo Victoria Theatre on 27th September 2006, recently welcoming its 11 millionth theatregoer and is already the ninth longest running West End musical in history.
