The Comedy About A Bank Robbery

The Mischief Theatre production is now taking bookings until November 2018 at the Criterion Theatre in London and has welcomed new cast members for its new extended period.

The comedy play, written by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields, is created by Mischief Theatre who also created The Play That Goes Wrong.

Tickets for the extended period are now on sale. Group rates are available for those with eight members or more.

The Comedy About A Bank Robbery

The show takes place in the summer of 1958. Minneapolis City Bank has been entrusted with a priceless diamond. An escaped convict is set on pocketing the gem with the help of his screwball sidekick, trickster girlfriend and the maintenance man. With mistaken identities, love triangles and hidden agendas, even the most reputable can’t be trusted. In a town where everyone’s a crook, who will end up bagging the jewel?

New cast members have already been introduced to the show, including Samuel Fogell and Holly Sumpton who previously understudied for Sam Monaghan and Caprice Freeboys.

Stepping into the shoes of Officers Cooper and Shuck is Laurence Pears and Jeremy Lloyd, who is reprising his role from the original cast and having previously played Everyone Else, now to be played by original cast member Chris Leask.

Completing the cast will be understudies Jack Whittle and Lydia Fraser.

More about Mischief Theatre

The extension is another cause for celebration for Mischief Theatre, who will reportedly be the only company to have three concurrent shows running in the West End, soon to open their show Mischief Movie Night, the hour-long improvised movie, live on stage for six weeks from 13th December.
