The interactive show will open at Riverside Studios in November, with visitors able to explore the world based on Douglas Adams’ novels and the 2005 film.
Set to open at the London venue on 15th November where it will run until 15th February 2026, transforming Riverside Studios 2 and 3, the connecting corridors, loading docks and bar space into Douglas Adams’ fictional universe.
Visitors to The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy Live Show will join Arthur Dent, Zaphod Beeblebrox, Fenchurch and the most unlikely crew in the history of galactic adventure to escape the destruction of Earth with seconds to spare and begin a search for answers to the mystery of life, the universe and everything, armed only with a towel and one very depressed robot.
Featuring a team of actors, the 90-minute show includes musical theatre and dance. Interactive elements are included in the live show and audiences can expect to be stood during the show.
The level of interactivity is up to the audience members. Visitors can choose to engage with the characters or stand back and watch the performance.
The story begins in an unusual pub for an evening of storytelling and a drink. From there, the story lifts off as you hitch a ride on a passing spaceship and join a quest to persuade a group of inter-dimensional mice to give the Earth a second chance.
