Immersive art exhibitions about the masterworks of artists Claude Monet and Vincent Van Gogh are set to visit major venues in cities across the UK.
Following a run last summer that registered over 150,000 visitors, the Beyond Van Gogh exhibition is returning to the UK with dates confirmed in Aberdeen, Liverpool, Exeter and Edinburgh.
Beyond Van Gogh brings together more than 300 of the post-Impressionist icon’s paintings blended with cutting-edge technology and a specially curated musical soundtrack to tell the story of one of history’s most influential artists, with people able to wander through iconic works - including The Starry Night, Sunflowers and Terrace of a Café at Night - as they came alive around them.
Additionally for 2025, producers of the show will also present Beyond Monet, which celebrates the work of the ‘Father of Impressionism’ in a colourful fashion. The show has secured dates in Liverpool and Edinburgh.
More than 400 of the French painter’s canvases are re-imagined as part of the experience, taking visitors on an audio-visual journey through his captivating world.
Beyond Monet brings together some of the artist’s most famous paintings – including Poppies, Impression: Sunrise and his exquisite Water Lilies series – with lesser-known works which all swirl around the space, offering a fresh and exciting new look at much-loved masterpieces and a deeper connection with Monet, his subjects and his innovative technique.
Both exhibitions have been enjoyed by more than seven million people worldwide.
Anna Parry, from producers Annerin Productions, said: “We had such a warm and enthusiastic welcome when we brought Beyond Van Gogh to the UK in 2024, and we were overwhelmed by the number of people of all ages who visited the experience and were mesmerised and moved by Van Gogh’s works and words.
“I can’t wait for the doors to open again at all our 2025 venues, and I know people are going to have a memorable shared experience.
“Meanwhile while we’re welcoming tens of thousands of art lovers to Aberdeen, Liverpool, Exeter and Edinburgh we’re also busy finalising our programme for 2026 which will see our ‘Beyond’ productions visiting further venues across the UK.”
All venues now have tickets on general sale with a range of entry options including, new for 2025, special family ticket and ‘parent and child’ tickets which offer savings on individual prices.
Bespoke discounts are available for groups of ten or more purchasing tickets together. Groups organisers should contact general@annerin.com with the group’s name, estimated number of attendees and the city where they would like to book.
