The production returns for a 10th anniversary tour in 2027, following a three-year West End residency and two sold-out UK & Ireland tours.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie tells the story of 16-year-old Jamie New who doesn’t quite fit in.

The anniversary production of the Everybody’s Talking About Jamie will open at Leeds Grand Theatre on 15th January 2027, where it will play until 23rd January. It will feature a new song from Dan Gillespie Sells and Tom MacRae.

The hit musical is scheduled to visit 20 venues, including Sheffield Lyceum, New Wimbledon Theatre, Liverpool Empire and Aylesbury Waterside Theatre, touring until 3rd July 2027 with further dates set to be announced.

About the show

Jamie New is 16-years-old and lives on a council estate in Sheffield. Jamie doesn’t quite fit in. Jamie is terrified about the future. Jamie is going to be a sensation.

Supported by his brilliant loving mum and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies and steps out of the darkness, into the spotlight.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie features an original score including And You Don’t Even Know ItIt Means Beautiful and the title song, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.

The production originally opened at the Sheffield Crucible in 2017, before transferring to the Apollo Theatre in the West End where it ran until September 2021. The production has played across the world, including the USA, Korea, Japan and Italy and adapted into a feature film.
