Gardening expert and television presenter, Chris Beardshaw will host a session in the Seminar Theatre at October’s Group Leisure & Travel Show, completing this year’s line-up of celebrity experts to appear at the number one event for people who organise group trips and holidays.

Chris is best known for presenting a range of TV programmes, including Gardeners’ World on the BBC, Hidden Gardens and the hugely popular The Flying Gardener, amongst many others.

He is a modern day ‘renaissance man’ in all matters horticultural, from landscape and garden design projects, to gardening television programmes, books and articles, teaching and lecturing, public speaking, as well as figure heading charity campaigns.

Also heard by millions on the weekly BBC Radio 4 Gardeners' Question Time panel, Chris Beardshaw will be at the Group Leisure & Travel Show to talk about his favourite gardens to visit and why they are so appealing at different times of the year. Visitors will also get the chance to ask their own questions.

You can currently catch Chris on TV as a regular presenter of BBC2’s Beechgrove Garden on Sundays and he joins a Seminar Programme at the GLTS that already includes travel expert, Simon Calder; historian Dan Cruickshank; and news broadcaster, Nicholas Owen**. As usual, the theatre is open free to all visitors to the Group Leisure & Travel Show, which takes place at the NEC, Birmingham on Thursday 12th October. Exhibitors include attractions, tour operators, coach companies, hotels, ticket agents, cruise lines, tourist boards and events, all on hand to help group travel organisers with new ideas and special offers.
