Blackpool’s digital destination guide for 2026 showcases everything the resort has to offer in the coming year, along with recommendations for dining and accommodation.

The 88-page guide features a wide range of attractions and events for groups, including new openings, anniversaries and shows.
Inside you can find a month-by-month checklist and events calendar, ensuring visitors do not miss a single event or celebration taking place. Blackpool’s famous illuminations, the Blackpool Tower and information on how to get around and environmental initiatives are also included.

2026 highlights
Visitors to Blackpool can look forward to the opening of Aviktas - a new thrill ride at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Miss Saigon performing at the Winter Gardens, and an opportunity to see a Monet painting at the Grundy Art Gallery.
Blackpool Pride, Air Show Weekend and the Blackpool Illuminations Switch-On are among the most notable events taking place in 2026 that visiting groups can look forward to. Other events include Restaurant Week and Rebellion Punk Festival.
The Lancashire town will be hosting a number of touring theatre productions. Some of the shows already announced are Fawlty Towers, Mamma Mia, Single White Female and The Silence of the Lambs. Blackpool Winter Gardens offers group discounts and a dedicated groups contact to tailor the experience, plus pre-booked meals for groups.
A wide range of attractions including The Blackpool Tower & Circus and Tower Ballroom, Madame Tussauds, SEA LIFE Blackpool, Blackpool Zoo and the Pleasure Beach Resort are also included in the guide and welcome groups.

The guide gives an at-a-glance look at the best places to eat and drink both on the Promenade and off the beaten track, from award-winning restaurants and afternoon high tea to traditional ice cream or good old-fashioned fish and chips.
There is also a list of different accommodation options, including traditional guesthouses, luxury hotels and budget alternatives.
