It’s always sad to see a good thing go, which is why we’re thrilled that these major productions are extending their run in London, one until 2028.

Paddington The Musical

Everyone’s favourite marmalade-loving bear isn’t going anywhere. Paddington The Musical opened late last year to rave reviews and recently collected seven Olivier Awards and nine WhatsOnStage Awards. The smash hit has now extended its run at the Savoy Theatre until 13th February 2028.

Paddington The Musical is one of the West End’s most successful debuts in recent years.

Based on Michael Bond’s children’s book A Bear Called Paddington and the Paddington film, the story follows the adventures of the little bear from Peru who’s found at Paddington Station by the Brown family. McFly’s Tom Fletcher has written the lyrics and the show is directed by Luke Sheppard.

Oh Mary!

The dark and wickedly funny comedy about Abraham Lincoln’s miserable wife Mary has taken London by storm since it opened at the Trafalgar Theatre in December 2025. Oh Mary! has already won an Olivier Award at this year’s ceremony for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play, following on from triumphant success on Broadway and numerous Tony Awards.

Now booking until 2nd January 2027, the production is currently led by Catherine Tate, who has received critical acclaim for her work in the role of Mary. Tate’s final show will be on 18th July before Cole Escola, the show’s writer and original Mary both on and off Broadway, makes their West End debut by reprising the role for a limited time until 15th August.

“The continued success of Avenue Q is a testament to its timeless wit, unforgettable score and the way its themes still resonate so strongly today. It remains, now more than ever, a musical for our time.”

Initially the new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic rock musical Jesus Christ Superstar was set for a limited run of 11 weeks at the London Palladium, but overwhelming demand has seen it extend its run throughout autumn until 16th January 2027 at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

The production, which follows the final days of Jesus’ life as told through the eyes of Judas, will see BRIT and Emmy-nominated singer Sam Ryder make his West End debut in the lead titular role. Group rates for ten or more are available for the performances at the Theatre Royal.

Hadestown

The award-winning musical Hadestown is a blended retelling of the ancient Greek myths of Orpheus and Eurydice and of Hades and Persephone. Intertwining two mythic love stories, audiences are taken on a journey to the underworld and back set to a critically acclaimed soundtrack.

Hadestown has won eight Tony Awards including Best Musical and received the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album. Now in its third year in the West End, the show has announced it will be extending its run at the Lyric Theatre into June 2027.
