The hit West End and Broadway comedy musical has opened at the Birmingham Hippodrome before it travels across the country, with more venues still to be announced.
The first images of Gabriel Vick starring as the beloved Mrs Doubtfire / Danial Hillard have been released following the musical comedy opening in Birmingham, where it is running until 19th September.
Gabriel is joined by Kara Lily Hayworth as Miranda Hillard, Aaliya Mai as Lydia Hillard, Ryan Pidgen as Frank Hillard, Jairus McClanahan as Andre Mayem, and James Darch as Stuart Dunmire.
Based on the hit 1994 film starring Robin Williams and Sally Fields, Mrs. Doubtfire follows the story of Daniel, an out-of-work father who loses custody of his children following a divorce. In an effort to spend time with them, he creates the alter ego of Scottish nanny Euphegenia Doubtfire.
The musical adaptation features original music and lyrics by Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick, and a book by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell.
The tour opened on 13th August and will run until 5th September 2027, travelling to venues including Newcastle, Glasgow and Milton Keynes. More venues are still expected to be announced.
