Bombay Sapphire Distillery is based at Laverstoke Mill in rural Hampshire, in a conservation area with over 1,000 years of history.

Located just 15 miles from Winchester and 60 miles from London, Bombay Sapphire Distillery offers a collection of high‑quality, bookable experiences designed specifically for group travel organisers and FIT planners seeking something distinctive for their itineraries.

Once a working paper mill supplying the Bank of England, the site has been carefully restored and transformed into the global home of Bombay Sapphire gin. Re-imagined by Heatherwick Studio, the distillery blends striking contemporary architecture with original mill buildings, creating a unique setting where heritage and modern design sit side by side.

Today, it is a fully functioning distillery and award-winning visitor experience, welcoming guests from around the world. Visitors are invited to explore the story behind Bombay Sapphire’s ten exotic botanicals, sourced globally and brought together using a rare vapour infusion distillation process.

Guided experiences take guests through the Glasshouses, Still House and historic mill spaces, revealing the craftsmanship, creativity and care behind every drop of gin.

Set within a conservation area on the banks of the River Test, sustainability and respect for place are central to the distillery’s operation. Every visit offers an insight into how Bombay Sapphire continues to evolve – balancing tradition with innovation, and craftsmanship with contemporary thinking – all within a truly distinctive location.
