Wicksteed Park

Wicksteed Park has revealed that it will be introducing a number of new productions to its daytime show line-up this year.

Included in the new shows will be The Great British Seaside Show, Hooray for Hollywood and Auntie Brenda’s Christmas Tale.

These shows will provide entertainment along with lunch and afternoon tea in the park’s historic Edwardian Pavilion.

From seaside entertainment to Hollywood

The Great British Seaside Show will premiere on 15th May and is said to be based on the classic end of pier variety show.

Hooray for Hollywood is set in 1920s London and will be staged from 12th September until 28th September.

Auntie Brenda’s Christmas Tale is a comedy and is fully choreographed with a four piece band and more than 40 different costumes. It will premiere on 5th November and will run on certain dates throughout November and December.

Group rates

Groups of 20 or more can benefit from discounted entry rates to Wicksteed Park. 

Coach drivers are provided with complimentary lunches and refreshments when visiting.

There are around 147 acres for visitors to explore at Wicksteed, including parkland and lakes that are surrounded by wildlife for those who enjoy nature or a spot of bird watching. There is also an aviary at Wicksteed Park. 

An arboretum wood is filled with exotic trees and the formal gardens host a range of blooms. Behind the arboretum are the remains of a Norman motte and bailey castle that is said to be around 900 years old.
