Voyages to Antiquity has added 30 new destinations to its 2017 cruise programme, including Reykjavik in Iceland and Cork in Ireland.

17 new itineraries have also been revealed, as have maiden visits to the Orkney and Shetland Islands, and Olbia in Sardinia.

The new range of destinations also includes two overnight stays in Sorrento, Italy, and Marseilles, France, as well as mid-cruise land stays in Morocco.

As part of the 2017 programme, groups can enjoy scenic coastal cruising around many remote destinations, including Fingal’s Cave and the Sound of Mull in Scotland, and Reykjavik in Iceland.

In addition, Voyages to Antiquity’s ship the Aegean Odyssey will sail along the Amalfi Coast in Italy and allow groups to enjoy the French Riviera and Capri.

Example itineraries

Madeira, Morocco and Seville is a 13-night sailing combining both ocean and river cruising. Groups will get to visit Funchal in Portugal; La Palma and Lanzarote in Spain; and Taroudant, Marrakesh and Casablanca in Morocco.

Highlight will include sailing on the Guadalquivir River and visiting the flower festival in Funchal. This cruise departs on 3rd May 2017. 

The no-fly 15-day Voyage around the British Isles sailing departs Tilbury in London on 29th June 2017. The cruise will call at Guernsey, Falmouth, Avonmouth, Holyhead, Dublin, Oban and Stornoway, amongst other places.

Price includes the 15-day cruise, all meals and drinks, guest speakers onboard, and ten shore excursions.

Groups can also choose to spend 15 days on an Iceland, Faroes and Shetland Islands cruise, departing 8th August 2017 from Tilbury.

This cruise visits Rosyth in Scotland and the Orkney Islands before heading to Reykjavik, Isafjordur, Akureyri and Husavik (all in Iceland).

Visits to Torshavn on the Faroe Islands and Lerwick on the Shetland Islands are also included on this itinerary.
