In just 30 seconds, the writers give their expert opinion on cruises on the Rhine, Danube, Rhône, Douro, Dutch waterways, Venetian Lagoon, Russian waterways, Loire, Seine, Elbe and Christmas markets.

Edited and produced by journalist Dave Monk (Shipmonk), the clip includes cruising experts and Group Leisure & Travel writers Jane Archer and Jeannine Williamson. 

It’s the second such video produced by Dave during lockdown. In the first, released at the end of April, the cruise specialists talked about why they love cruises and shared some of their highlights over the years. 

Dave said: “The 12 of us wanted to convey our love of a dozen different European river cruises in just 30 seconds each, so that the viewer gets a taste of what to expect without being bogged down in detail. By cutting together film clips with personal photos, we hope to showcase both the wonderful scenery plus some of the great activities you can get up to.”
