Ferrari Land

Tickets for Spanish-based PortAventura’s new theme park Ferrari Land will be available from 31st January, ahead of the park’s opening on 7th April.

Ferrari Land, located close to Barcelona, will occupy 70,000 square metres and will have 11 attractions including Ferrari Experience and the Vertical Accelerator, which according to PortAventura is set to be the highest and faster rollercoaster in Europe at 112 metres high and reaching 180km/h in just five seconds.

The theme park will also feature a Ferrari Land Gallery, which will provide an interactive journey though the history of Ferrari; a racetrack; F1 simulators; and a pit stop.

Ferrari Land will be themed to look like an Italian town with restaurants and shops also on site including Ferrari themed restaurants, which will serve classic recipes as well as traditional Italian ice cream. Shops selling Ferrari merchandise, as well as entertainment such as themed shows and street entertainment will also form part of Ferrari Land.

Tickets to Ferrari Land will also allow access to the PortAventura Park, which includes the rides Furius Baco, a horizontal catapult which is said to fling visitors at 135km/h in three seconds, and Dragon Khan, an eight-loop rollercoaster, which travel at speeds of more than 110km/h.
