The concert style show, Thriller Live, will celebrate its tenth birthday in the West End in January and has announced the release of 190,000 more tickets.

Thriller Live

The production, which showcases Michael Jackson’s unforgettable music and choreography, is playing at the Lyric Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue in London, where it is now booking until 29th September 2019.

With the new booking period, a further 190,000 tickets have now been released.

On 9th April, at the 4,625th West End performance, Thriller Live will overtake Miss Saigon to become the 13th longest running musical of all time.

A second Thriller Live company is touring Poland, Germany, Dubai, Kuwait and the UK including Portsmouth, Aylesbury, Birmingham and Milton Keynes.

About Thriller Live

Thriller Live, unlike some West End shows, has no script or story, and is instead a celebration of Michael Jackson’s music and dance legacy, bringing to life on stage his distinctive high-energy dancing and the pulsating sound of many of pop’s greatest hits.

The show changes each year with new numbers added and features specially created video footage and effects and choreography by the show’s director, Gary Lloyd.

Thriller Live first moonwalked into the Lyric Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue in 2009 and it holds the record as the longest ever run of a show since the theatre started entertaining the capital in December 1888.

Celebrating its tenth year on 22nd January 2019, original cast members, singers and dancers from the show across the decade will come together to mark this West End milestone.
