Star Wars Identities

An exhibition called Star Wars Identities will open at the O2 in London this November, and group admission will be available from December.

The exhibition is currently on a world tour and will be based in London from 18th November until 3rd September 2017.

Tickets go on general sale on 30th September, and group admission will be available from 1st December.

What can groups see at the exhibition?

Star Wars Identities is described as a modern exhibition experience in which visitors will rediscover the characters of Star Wars in a whole new way.

Developed and produced by Montreal’s X3 Productions in collaboration with Lucasfilm Ltd., the exhibition makes use of an extensive archive collection from the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art to explore the identities of the characters in Star Wars.

The collection of some 200 props, models, costumes and artwork from the original Star Wars films, an interactive identity quest, and scientific content will come together to allow visitors to follow the dramatic journeys of characters Luke and Anakin Skywalker.

The identities of other characters such as Darth Vader, R2-D2, Chewbacca, Boba Fett and Yoda will be portrayed throughout the exhibition, too.

The collection spans the original Star Wars canon, drawing from the classic (1977-1983) and prequel (1999-2005) trilogies, the animated series The Clone Wars, as well as a few artefacts from the recently released Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The interactive quest

Star Wars Identities will place the visitor at the centre of the exhibition experience with an interactive identity quest that spans the duration of the visit.

Closely interwoven with the collection and the educational content, this interactive experience will use technology to help visitors of all ages create their own personal and original Star Wars identity.
