Galapagos Sea Lions

From January next year, G Adventures will welcome the Eden to its fleet for the Galapagos Islands sea-based tours.

The 16-passenger yacht will join the tour operator’s four other boats currently running trips around the Galapagos Islands.

The addition follows growing demand for tours around the islands. Between 2016 and 2017, G Adventures said it saw a 22% increase in bookings of the marine-based tours through the Galapagos adding that between August 2017 and July this year, the yacht excursions were fully booked.

Managing director Brian Young, said: “We are continuing to see increased demand from our travellers looking to experience the Galapagos Islands and the addition of the Eden marks an exciting development for us to be able to meet this demand”.

The Itineraries on board the new ship range from seven to 17 days in length and will see the yacht travel round the North, Central, West, East, and Southern Islands.
