New Morgan Car package launched in Malvern

Groups with an interest in cars can book a new experience recently launched in Malvern, which includes a stay at the Colwall Park Hotel with the optional addition of a tour of the Morgan Motor Company.

Colwall Park Hotel in Malvern, Worcestershire, has teamed-up with the Morgan Motor Company to offer visitors the opportunity to tour the car factory, or to hire their own classic Morgan sports car either for a day or for a long weekend.

The Morgan Car Hire Break features a package that includes a double room, a full English breakfast each morning and a Morgan 4/4 sports car to drive.

The break is suitable for groups, depending on hotel availability.

The experience allows guests to pick-up their classic car from the Morgan Factory at nearby Malvern Link, at 10am on the second morning of their stay.

The hotel will provide guests with suggested driving routes ranging from the Cotswolds to the Welsh Marches; the black and white villages of Herefordshire; or along the Teme valley to Ludlow.

The package is available to book both mid-week and at weekends, for two or three nights.

Take a guided tour

Groups can also add on a Morgan Factory Tour to their break. This guided tour includes the chance to see skilled craftsmen at work as they hand-make the bespoke sports cars.

In the two-hour long visit, groups will also get to witness traditional car manufacturing combined with cutting edge technology.

Guided tours for parties of ten or more are available Monday to Thursday, and on Friday mornings, and pre-booking is essential.
