Little witches at Blenheim

Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire will be hosting a spooky fireworks display on 3rd November as part of its new Halloween celebrations.

In addition to pyrotechnics, which will illuminate the Great Court alongside ‘frightful’ light projections, the eerie evening will include plenty of thrills with lots of paranormal activities.

What to expect?

Groups attending will get to watch a witch take to the sky on a broomstick as she ‘flies’ across a trapeze; discover a levitating gargoyle-human statue lurking amongst the crowd; and be wowed by tall Halloween stilt walkers featuring skeletons, zombies and the Grim Reaper.

There will be gliding ghosts, weeping angels moving mysteriously around the courtyard and a scary skeleton cycling on a penny-farthing.

During their visit, groups can indulge in delicious food from hot-dogs and waffles to seasonal treats.

This year Blenheim Palace will be supporting Oxfam during this event and will be donating £2 per ticket and all the proceeds from the parking to Oxfam’s work fighting poverty around the world.

More events at Blenheim in 2018

And the Christmas at Blenheim Light Trail will transform the ‘Capability’ Brown landscape at the palace from 23rd November 2018 to 1st January 2019.
