Medemblik - Heart of Holland Cruise

The River Cruise Line has launched its 2019 programme with new itineraries and new ship options for passengers to choose from.

The latest programme includes a choice of seven new itineraries and the addition of five new ship options, making it the operator's largest programme to date. 

The new ships include MS Belvedere, MS Thurgau Rhone, MS Swiss Ruby, MV Dream, and MS Johannes Brahms.

Itineraries on the Dutch Waterways and Danube

One of the new itineraries has been created by the captain of The River Cruise Line’s exclusive ship the MPS Lady Anne, Captain Wido Arts. 

The Heart of Holland and Keukenhof Gardens cruise follows an eight-day itinerary that departs from Arnhem and covers a route that includes Deventer, one of the oldest cities in Holland; an optional excursion to the Medemblik Bakery to learn about old fashioned Dutch bread-making is included, as is the cheese town of Gouda and star-shaped Willemstad. The cruise will depart on 12th and 19th May 2019.

Other new itineraries for 2019, aboard the four-star MS Serenity, include Treasures along the Danube from the Black Sea, a ten-day journey from the Black Sea to Vienna, departing in August and September 2019.

Another, The Blue Danube, is an eight-day cruise starting and finishing in Vienna, with visits to Bratislava and Budapest, departing in August 2019; and The Danube to the Black Sea, is a newly redesigned cruise from Passau to the Black Sea, departing in July 2019.

Other new 2019 itineraries

Enchanting Seine cruise: This itinerary will sail from Paris to Honfleur in May onboard one of the new ships, MS Swiss Ruby.

Dalmatian Coastal Cruise: This cruise will sail locations along the coast on one of the new ships, the MV Dream.

The Baltic Isles, Berlin & Poland cruise: New ship MS Johannes Brahms departs in June and cruises the calm waters of the Baltic Coast, including crossing the Szczecin lagoon and visiting picturesque resorts and historic cities
