My Fair Lady

My Fair Lady will be staged at The Mill at Sonning, Berkshire, from 23rd November until 27th January 2018.

The musical follows the story of Eliza Dolittle, a Cockney flower girl who speaks in ‘yowls’ and not ‘vowels’, who is plucked off the streets of London by the arrogant Professor Higgins who declares he can pass her off as a Duchess in six months.

It also includes a score including songs Wouldn’t It Be Loverly?, On The Street Where You Live, I Could Have Danced All Night and Get Me To The Church On Time.

Casting 

The full cast will include Bethan Nash as Eliza Doolittle; Phil Snowden as Alfred Doolittle; Martin Fisher as Professor Higgins; and Eric Carte as Colonel Pickering. 

Other confirmed casting includes: Felicity Duncan as Mrs Pearce; Francesca Ellis as Mrs Eynsford-Hill; Alex Hammond as Freddy Eynsford-Hill; Susan Kyd as Mrs Higgins; Rachel Moran as Clara Eynsford-Hill; Spencer O’Brien as Harry; Amanda Sim; and James William-Pattison as Jamie.

Joseph Pitcher will be directing and choreographing, along with musical arrangement by Charlie Ingles. They are joined by musical director Joe Bunker, set designer Michael Holt, costume designer Natalie Titchener and assistant choreographer Rachel Moran. 

My Fair Lady has book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and Music by Frederick Loewe. It is adapted from George Bernard Shaw’s play and Gabriel Pascal’s Motion Picture Pygmalion.
