Long-running productions Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera and Hamilton, along with Oliver! will all now run in London until March 2027.
The Phantom Of The Opera at His Majesty’s Theatre, Les Misérables at the Sondheim Theatre and Hamilton at the Victoria Palace Theatre are all booking until 13th March 2027.
Lionel Bart’s Oliver! has also extended its run and is now booking at the Gielgud Theatre until 14th March 2027 as it enters its third year in the West End.
Producer Cameron Mackintosh said: “I’m delighted to announce ‘one year more’ for all four of the great classic musicals I have playing in the West End.
“This autumn, Phantom Of The Opera will be celebrating 40 phenomenal years at His Majesty’s Theatre, Les Misérables will continue in its 41st year, Oliver! will be going into its third year and in 2027, Hamilton will celebrate its tenth year, sharing its birthday with the Victoria Palace which was spectacularly rebuilt to house this revolutionary musical.”
New addition to Hamilton cast
Tony and Grammy Award-winner and Broadway’s original ‘Aaron Burr’, Leslie Odom, Jr. will join the cast of Hamilton at the Victoria Palace Theatre, reprising his role as he makes his West End debut from 3rd July to 5th September this year.
Leslie Odom, Jr. said: “Returning to Hamilton and revisiting the role of Aaron Burr with the growth and perspective of time has been a profoundly healing artistic experience. I am having so much fun!
“I am thankful to Cameron Mackintosh and Jeffrey Seller for the invitation to make my West End debut with this fabulous company. The London production will grant me a few more glorious weeks to share Lin-Manuel’s music with an international audience who, I have learned, love this show as much, if not more, than I. I’m crossing the ocean and I just can’t wait.”
Group bookings
Performances of The Phantom of the Opera take place Monday to Saturday evenings, with matinee performances on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Groups rates are available for ten or more booking for weekday performances.
Les Misérables offers group rates for groups of ten or more for Monday to Thursday performances.
Group rates are available for Hamilton at the Victoria Palace Theatre for seats in the stalls and royal circle, valid for Monday to Thursday performances.
Discounted rates are available for Oliver! for groups of ten or more, with accelerator rates available when booking and paying by 17th July 2026.
