Linda Nolan

Described as a very British comedy musical, Rumpy Pumpy! will star Linda Nolan and Louise Jameson when it runs in London and Windsor this November.

The production will run at the Theatre Royal, Windsor from 1st to 5th November, and the Union Theatre in London from 14th to 19th November.

Linda Nolan, of The Nolans fame, and Eastender’s Louise Jameson will star as the main characters, Jean Johnson and Shirley Landels. Further casting is yet to be announced.

Rumpy Pumpy! is based on the true story of two genteel ladies from the Hampshire Women’s Institute who take it upon themselves to campaign for better conditions for working girls.

Audiences will follow the funny and chaotic story of Jean Johnson and Shirley Landels as they decide to campaign for the decriminalisation of prostitution and to improve conditions for prostitutes.

A true story, Rumpy! Pumpy!, with book, music and lyrics by Barbara Jane Mackie, is directed by Simon Grieff.
