Let It Be%2C at the Shea Stadium

21 venues will feature on the Let It Be 2016 national tour, which will open at Cliffs Pavilion in Southend on 11th January.

This will be Let It Be’s biggest tour to date, with theatres in the likes of Southampton, Bath, Edinburgh, Bristol and Oxford already confirmed. More dates are set to be announced as well.

The show, which celebrates the music and rise in fame of The Beatles, has already wowed London’s West End and New York’s Broadway audiences.

It is currently half-way through a five-week run at Royal Court Theatre, the birthplace of The Beatles in Liverpool, where it is enjoying sell-out performances.

Synopsis

Let It Be pays tribute to The Beatles in a theatrical concert charting the band’s meteoric rise from their humble beginnings in Liverpool’s Cavern Club, through the height of Beatlemania, to their later studio masterpieces.

The musical is packed with over 40 of The Beatles’ greatest hits including I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Hard Day’s Night, Day Tripper, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Strawberry Fields, When I’m 64, and Get Back.
