Next summer, groups visiting Legoland Windsor will be able to stay in the resort’s new castle themed hotel.

The Castle Hotel will open on the 1st July 2017 and will allow guests to sleep in one of two themed room types – Knights and Wizards.

The hotel will be situated on the edge of the theme park, next to the existing Legoland Windsor Resort Hotel, and will aim to bring to life a Medieval world themed around brave knights and princesses, wizards and jesters.

Groups staying at the hotel will find Lego models throughout, including a giant Lego wizard in the lobby.

The hotel will also boast the a la carte Tournament Tavern Restaurant, an indoor Jester’s play area and an outdoor playground.

Those staying at the hotel will receive benefits such as on-site leisure and entertainment facilities, early entry into the park, fast track access on selected rides, free refillable drink vessels and Lego gifts and collectables.

A hotel stay also includes breakfast, and booking will open for the 61 roomed hotel in mid-October.

About the Lego themed hotel

Legoland Windsor is already home to the Lego themed hotel, which offers a number of different themed rooms.

Guests can stay in a pirate, adventure, kingdom or lego friends themed room.

About the resort

Legoland Windsor Resort opened in 1996 on the former Windsor Safari Park and was the second Leogland to open, with Legoland Billund in Denmark being the first.

The park is split into 12 themed lands such as The Beginning, Imagination Centre, Duplo Valley, Miniland, Adventure Land, LEGO City, Pirate Shores, Heartlake City, Knight’s Kingdom, Land of the Vikings and Kingdom of the pharaohs.

Groups of seven or more can save up to 40 per cent per person on entrance fees and will receive activity packs.
