Legally Blonde the Musical will go on an extensive new UK tour this September, opening at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley.

The new production will visit UK venues until June 2018. These will include Woking New Victoria, Northampton Derngate, Sheffield Lyceum, and the Southampton Mayflower.

And after a Christmas break, the tour will start again at Belfast Grand Opera House on 26th February before heading to the likes of Canterbury, Nottingham and Liverpool.

Legally Blonde the Musical is described as an all-singing, all-dancing romantic comedy, and is based on the novel by Amanda Brown.

Audiences will follow the story of college sweetheart and homecoming queen, Elle Woods, who heads to law school to reinvent herself when her boyfriend dumps her for someone more serious.

Based on the film starring Reese Witherspoon from 2001, Legally Blonde the Musical earned seven Tony nominations and ten Drama Desk Award nominations during its Broadway run. In the UK it was nominated for five Laurence Olivier Awards winning three, including Best New Musical.
