The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, has announced groups can book their tickets to next year’s Orchid Festival with discounted rates for 15 or more.

Each year the Princess of Wales Conservatory is transformed for the festival which celebrates the diversity of a particular country’s plants and wildlife.

With more than 260 years of history, Kew Gardens is said to be one of the largest botanical gardens in the UK with around 50,000 plants, housing thousands of tropical and temperate orchid species in their glasshouses.

What to expect

The 2026 Orchid Festival was themed around China’s biodiversity and natural beauty of the region. It marked the 30th such event for Kew Gardens; the festival has evolved from a modest showcase into a landmark celebration and now also tells exciting stories of Kew’s global scientific and conservation partnerships.
